NSUI Goa has accused the Together for University Council of being a “B Team” of ABVP, alleging that two members posing as TFU representatives are actually part of ABVP Goa. Rushab Phaldesai, CES College Unit Incharge and President of NSUI-Quepem block, exposed the alleged connection between TFU and ABVP, stating that the TFU council is akin to the “B team” for ABVP, similar to how Revolutionary Goans are perceived as the ‘B-team’ for BJP.
NSUI Goa has vehemently denied claims made by the TFU Council regarding their efforts to address student mess issues. Phaldesai highlighted NSUI’s efforts in pursuing the hostel mess issue until its resolution, ensuring that a tender was floated for the welfare of students. He stated that the issue was addressed to the secretary of education, leading to the issuance of a tender by the government.

NSUI further criticized TFU council members for allegedly bluffing to the media about initiatives they never addressed. They emphasized their own efforts for the betterment of university students, including the installation of CCTV surveillance throughout the Goa University campus.
Additionally, NSUI Goa has urged students not to be deceived by such imposters and to remain aware of such affiliations in the upcoming university elections.
