A 32-year-old man from Indore-MP was crushed to death under a truck at Mollem on Tuesday at about 1 am.
According to Collem police PI Manoj Mardolkar, the incident occurred when the deceased, Ramnivas Babulal Dhurve, who was sleeping near Arson Petrol Pump, Mollem, was crushed under a truck (TN-21-Q-3339).
After being informed of the incident, the police rushed to the site and shifted the injured to GMC Hospital in Bambolim, where he died.
Police arrested the truck driver Anvajzajang G Swamy of Pallayar-TN under Sections 279 and 304 (A).
PSI Praveen Gauns is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Mardolkar.
