Goa sent Jharkhand on a leather hunt amassing 583 runs in the first innings with Reagan Pinto being out on 123 on the second day of their Ranji Trophy league match at GCA stadium, Porvorim on Thursday.
Jharkhand trailed by 545 runs with 9 wickets in hand as they were 38 for 1 at stumps.
Resuming at the overnight score of 315 for 4, overnight batsman Reagan scored 123 off 201 balls which included 16 fours. R. Keni recorded 50 off 113 balls with 9 fours. S S Bandekar was run out on 36 off 88 balls with 3 fours. Shadab Jakati made 65 off 108 balls with 2 sixes and 4 fours. R R D’Sousa scored 41 off 54 balls with 6 fours. Amit yadav scored 50 off 83 balls with 1 four and 4 sixes. S B Yadav 10 not out off 30 balls with 1 four.
Jharkhand’s S S Quadri captured 3 wickets while Kuldeep Sharma, R Shukhla andV R Aaron claimed 2 wickets each.
The only Jharkhand wicket fell to Shadab Jakati.
