Ronit wins Priol chess

PANJIM: Ronit Gaude emerged champion in the chess coaching camp-cum-tournament jointly organized by Laxmi Sports and Cultural Club, Priol and Ponda Taluka Chess Association, at Panchme-Priol, recently. Chetan Satarkar bagged the second place while Chetan Gaude settled for the third position.

PANJIM: Ronit  Gaude emerged champion in the  chess coaching camp-cum-tournament  jointly  organized  by  Laxmi  Sports  and  Cultural  Club, Priol  and  Ponda  Taluka  Chess  Association, at Panchme-Priol, recently. 
Chetan Satarkar bagged the second place while Chetan Gaude settled for the third position.
Chief guest for the prize distribution function was Sagar Sakordekar, president of Ponda Taluka Chess Association.
He  congratulated  Laxmi  Sports  and  Cultural  Club  and  Anand  Kurtiker for  promoting chess  in  Priol.
Chess  coach  Amogh Namshiker and secretary, PTCA; chief  arbiter Anand Kurtiker;  executive  member  (PTCA), and  Lala  Satarkar, president, Laxmi  Sports  and  Cultural  Club  were  also  present.
Shivdas  Gaude, secretary, Laxmi  Sports  and  Cultural  Club  compered  while Mahadev  Gaude  proposed  a vote  of  thanks. 
Altogether, 14 players participated.
