MAPUSA: FC Siolim managed to edge past Holy Cross Arambol in the GFA’s Third Division League Bardez Zone held at Vagator PYSC ground here on Wednesday.
The teams were locked in a 1-1 draw at the end of the first session.

Siolim colts took the lead in the 33rd minute with Prajyot Fadte scoring on entering the 18-yard box, 1-0.
Ten minutes later, Arambol equalised through Stepelton Fernandes who made no mistake to score from the penalty spot, 1-1.
On crossing over the teams fought almost on equal footing but in the 74th minute Siolim’s Gopal Shirodkar scored to give full three points for his team, 2-1.
At Moira grounds: St Sebastian SC drubbed Cunchelim SC by 6-1 margin. At the breather St Sebastian were leading by 5-1 margin.
Anford Fernandes did most of the damage scoring a hat-trick, while Prashant Govekar, Sahil Jalmi (2) accounted for the next three goals for the winners.
At Chandor football ground, Rumdamol SC defeated Dicarpale SC by 4-2 goals after trailing by two goals. Maktum Khan, Toufeeq Tadas, Shafaiz Kuknoor and Akash Bhosle scored for Rumdamol SC while Alroy Moniz and Benny Figuerado scored for Dicarpale SC.
At Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, Shiroda Youth Club defeated Margao SC by 5-2 goals. Astal Dias and Atul Gaonkar scored a brace each and Tejas Gaude scored one goal for Shiroda YC. Floriano Vaz and Roiston Gomes netted a goal each for Margao SC.
At Rosary ground, Navelim, Navelim SC defeated Dramapur SC by 8-3 goals. For Navelim SC, Domingos Cardozo scored a hat-trick while Meloyson Dias, Casly Gomes, Terrance Miranda, Tanvir Bagalkot and Dylon Dias netted a goal each. Jestor Fernandes scored a brace while Senoy Oliveira scored one goal for Dramapur SC.
