Assembly was adjourned for 10 minutes Tuesday after opposition disrupted the proceedings over media reports, which claimed their leader Manohar Parrikar was involved in idol desecration incidents.
Parrikar, the BJP leader, sought to move an adjournment motion over the news item, which appeared in a local Marathi daily. The news reportedly had linked Parrikar and BJP Goa unit chief Sripad Naik to Kavesh Gosavi, an accused arrested in idol desecration cases.
