St Savio Sports Club, Calangute beat Sporting Club of Davorlim 1-0 to march into the semi-finals of All-Goa Alvernaz and Lalush Alemao memorial inter-village football organized by Churchill Brothers at Varca ground, on Tuesday. There was no score at half time. The all-important goal came in the 57th minute through Pedro Fernandes. St Savio goalkeeper Agnelo Fernandes who was outstanding was declared man-of- the match.
