PANJIM: Former Chief Minister and BJP Leader Laxmikant Parsekar today vowed to defeat Ex-Congressman Dayanand Sopte in the upcoming byelections. Sopte resigned as MLA and entered BJP two days back.
Parsekar was addressing the BJP workers and office bearers meet in Mandrem today. Parsekar also criticized BJP state President Vinay Tendulkar. “We will not express our anger on the party but we will teach lesson to defectors,” Parsekar told his workers. Parsekar has been critical of Sopte’s entry into BJP. Venting his ire, Parsrkar said he was not even consulted before taking this decision.
