A head constable attached to the Chennai Secretariat is in Calangute in search of his 25-year-old son.
Head Constable Sen, who learnt of his son Vincy Thomas’s arrival in Goa, was in Calangute-Baga area looking out for his son.
Calangute Police was also alerted about his son’s Vincy Thomas’s disappearance by the head constable, but they could do little in the matter.
According to sources, Vincy arrived in the state of Goa a few weeks ago and took an employment with one of the water sports operators in and around Calangute village in disguise of a poor boy from other state.
“He also went on to disclose that he belongs to a poor family and his parents are unable to cope up with the poverty and hence needed an employment,” informed sources.
Sources further informed that the boy was last seen in the Calangute village and at present his whereabouts are yet to be known.
Anyone aware of his whereabouts may kindly inform the Calangute Police Sation or the nearest police station.
