Remeth Colaco of Rosary scored a brace while Fr Camilo Dias scored the third goal for the winners. Fr Jose Fernandes reduced the margin for SFX, Siolim.
Remeth Colaco of Rosary was adjudged Best striker of the finals, Vhelian Rebello of Rosary Best defender and Oswald Da Costa of Rosary the Best goalkeeper of the final. Fr Jose Fernandes of SFX, Siolim was declared Best player of the tournament.
The winners were awarded cash prize of Rs 7,777 and a trophy while the runners-up took home Rs 5,555 and a trophy.
Fr Felix Mendes was the chief guest and distributed the prizes in the presence of guest of honour Deputy Sarpanch of VP Aldona Charudatta Panjikar.
Principal of Rosary HSS, Navelim Victoria D’Souza; Principal of SFX, Siolm HSS Fr Santow; Principal of St Thomas HSS, Aldona Fr Jerard Sahayeraj and other dignitaries were present. A total of 15 staff teams participated in the tournament.
Headmaster of St Thomas Boys High School, Aldona Fr Valerian Carvalho welcomed. Vijay Kumar and Lavina Pareira compered. Fr Jerard proposed the vote of thanks.
