BENAULIM: UB 40 Colva defeated Ferrari Boys, Varca 3-1 to move into the semi-finals of the12th Serino Cardozo Memorial football tournament organised by Friends of Illeant-Benaulim, at Illeant Benaulim ground, on Wednesday.
Ferrari Boys, opened the score-line through Aeron in the 14th minute. UB 40 came from behind and netted three goals which came from the boots of Joel, Sweeden and Kabir in the 34th, 36th and 40th minutes respectively.
UB 40 Colva will now meet the winner of Dando Boys, Colva and Pedda Boys, Varca in the semi-finals on August 5.
