VASCO: NGO Goa First has demanded immediate appointment of a full–time Mamlatdar and a Joint Mamlatdar-II for the Mormugao taluka.

Goa First president Parshuram Sonurlekar said that citizens have been facing immense hardships due to non appointment of a full-time Mamlatdar and Joint Mamlatdar-II in Mormugao for last two months.
He said “Mormugao taluka is a highly populated taluka in the State and a lot of people visit the Mamlatdar’s office for various works such as residential certificate, mutation and other matters.”
Sonurlekar said that people are facing hardships as the pending work is getting piled up and the Joint Mamlatdars I and III had to take the work load of the main Mamlatdar and Joint Mamlatdar-II.
