CALANGUTE, AUG 24
Calangute Police late Monday evening arrested a 54-year-old man from Hyderabad on charges of possessing 2.25 kgs Charas worth Rs 2.25 lakh at Dongorpur Junction, Naikka Vaddo, Calangute.
Acting on a tip-off, Calangute Police team led by PI Nolasco Raposo, PSI Gaurish Parab and other personnel arrested David Abraham at Dongorpur junction. Police also took into possession mobile phone and cash of Rs 13,000, which was found with Abraham.
Calangute Police have registered an offense on Tuesday morning and arrested Abraham.
Police is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Nolasco Raposo.
