The state of the road leading from the Verna industrial estate — Titan circle up to Cipla — turns into almost terrible during the rainy season and has become impassable as the rains have badly broken up the surface.
The present status of the road condition is totally unacceptable with the road full of pot holes and substandard construction material.
The rain has exposed the disheartening situation. The worst to suffer are the local commuters. Since the concerned road remains busy practically the whole day with speeding buses and overloaded trucks running on it; the condition of the road has further worsened and has raised a huge question on the safety of the people travelling by this road.
Also majority of the road lights in this locality are out of order. There is dimness in the area at night which further increases the risks of fatal accidents due to the pathetic condition of the road. It also causes severe damages to the running vehicles. This problem has reached its extreme.
I hope that the concerned authorities look into the matter seriously and take some prompt and necessary action to overcome this problem.
