VASCO: Gold ornaments and electronic items worth over 1.83 lakh were burgled from a house at Chicalim in Vasco. Zuleca Fernandes (22) complained that some unknown persons entred into her house by breaking the main door lock and decamped with gold ornaments and electronic gadgets worth Rs 1.83 lakh. The burglary occurred when the occupants had gone out to take part in the Christmas Mass on Thursday night and when they returned they found the main door lock broken and gold ornaments and electronic items missing.
A case under section 457, 380 of IPC has been registered by the Vasco police and further investigation is in process.
