PANJIM: Trinamool Congress (TMC) in its pursuit to nail the present BJP Government in the State, has picked up pace across all 40 constituencies. Over 30 TMC leaders along with over 450 volunteers have so far distributed the ‘People’s Chargesheets’ to over 15,000 people.
The TMC would be apparently launching a door to door campaign and reach out to every household in Pernem. In the northern most taluka too, the strategy would be to understand people’s problems and devise specific solutions.

In its outreach, Goa TMC has sought to give justice to all people, especially the Bahujan Samaj.
It began with former tennis player Leander Paes, who reached out to his fellow villagers in Assolna, Velim and Tollecanto. He freely mingled with young and old and made it a point to hear them out on various issues. He assured to solve their grievances and launch a relentless fight. In particular, Paes took up the issue of traditional fishermen, especially the issues of bull trawling, LED fishing and depletion of the local fish catch by fishermen from neighbouring States. Paes has also attended local football matches and mingled with upcoming sportsmen and sports lovers.
Kanta Gaude, Prominent Leader of Goa TMC—a popular folk artist and vice-president of Goa Konkani Academy—started his door to door campaign in Priol.
In the coastal belt of North Goa, Paes met the fishermen, small traders, taxi operators and others in Calangute.
Goa’s ace tiatrist Francis De Tuem met the locals of Aldona and said, “Today here (in Aldona) people are lagging behind in basics. People have complained about basic infrastructure, electricity, water issue and other basis issues. It’s time to give the people of Goa what they deserve the best.”
