Tivim Goankars and villagers have filed a Police complaint against the Communidade of Tivim for leasing out a land for 99 years within its jurisdiction. The complainants have alleged that leasing was done without consulting the villagers and Gaonkars.
They were assisted by Adv Carlos Fereira. The complaint has been filed against the Tivim Communidade Committee and Escrivao for illegally leasing land without taking permission of Gaonkars.

Villagers and Gauncars have demanded registration of FIR under Sections 420, 468 & 474 r/w S. 34 IPC for cheating, for forgery, for knowingly using forged document as true & misleading the Government in obtaining approval for grant of land without auction.
