SARZORA: CAC Cansaulim shot-out Fr Agnel YC, Paroda 5-4 via the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-finals of the Assumpta trophy, organised by Sarzora Sports club, at SAG ground, Sarzora, on Wednesday.
Fr. Agnel opened the scoring through Salden Fernandes assisted by Joy Fernandes in the sixth minute.
Fr. Agnel doubled the lead in the 11th minute through Joel Furtado.
CAC Cansaulim pulled a goal back off a free-kick by Elvinono Fernandes in the 28th minute.
CAC Cansaulim equalised in the 40th minute through Aryan Dias. The match ended 2-2 in the regular time. In the tie-breaker, CAC Cansaulim proved to be better shooters.
