CUNCOLIM: Goa civil cervices officer Elvis Gomes’ good friend and former Cuncolim municipal chairperson Ramesh Dessai has denied that he attended the Saturday’s meeting wherein the former’s supporters urged him to contest the 2017 Assembly election. On Saturday, close supporters of Gomes had organised a meeting to gauge the pulse of voters. At the meeting, Gomes’ supporters gave a clear indication to the BJP government that they are in no mood to forget the injustice done to Gomes.
