PANJIM: The National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) Goa unit has urged State government to waive off 50 per cent of college fees for Post Graduate, Law and B Ed courses.

The NSUI delegation led by its State President Naushad Chowdhari on Thursday called on Director of Higher Education Prasad Lolayekar demanding the waiver for the students for Post Graduate, Law, B ED and self-financed courses.
The NSUI said that due to COVID-19 pandemic and economic slowdown, several parents are going through immense financial stress due to loss of jobs or stoppage of business activities.
