The first half had equal amount of possession by both teams while the scoreboard read 0-0. It was Devendra Murgaonkar for CDJ Ribandar who had the first
look at the CAC Cansaulim goal but his powerful grounder deflected after it hit Assumption Soares of CAC Cansaulim and went out for a corner kick in the 6th minute.
In the 23rd minute CDJ Ribandar through Shashank Naik released a power packed shot which was saved by the rival goalkeeper.
Jitendra Mulgaonkar of CDJ Ribandar should have found the ball at the back of the net but Ocatavio Miranda of CAC Cansaulim
blocked his move in the 25th minute.
Crossing over, Domnic Soares opened the account for CAC Cansaulim in the 35th minmute with a carpet drive shot.
In the 40th minute Gautam Kankonkar of CDJ Ribandar handled the ball inside the penalty area of which match referee, Jose Dias awarded a penalty kick, however Brian Menezes of CAC Cansaulim was unable to convert from the spot.
Agnelo D’souza scored the second for CAC Cansaulim in the 45th minute.
