Ponda MGP Threatens to work against MP Sawaikar in the next LS elections

PONDA: Irked over Bharatiya Janata Party’s move to sideline PWD Minister Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar at the launch of the workers’ scheme programme at Khandepar on Tuesday, Ponda block of Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) has threatened to work against Member of Parliament (MP) Narendra Sawaikar in the next Lok Sabha elections if such incidents continue.  It may be recalled that MP Sawaikar had launched new schemes for Goa building and other construction workers in MIBK school hall at Khandepar. Ponda MLA Ravi Naik was invited to grace the occasion, but Dhavalikar was not invited. “It is evident that BJP is deliberately sidelining our leader Sudin Dhavalikar for reasons best known to them. In last LS polls we supported Sawaikar.  But he should not disrespect our leader,” Anil Naik, MGP Ponda Block president said.
“When these schemes are for workers, how BJP can forget the PWD Minister, whose department works with construction workers,” Naik questioned.
“Our leader Sudin Dhavalikar should seriously think over this issue. We are hurt by this act of BJP and will refrain ourselves from supporting Sawaikar, if such things continue in future.” Naik warned.
He has written letter in this regard to MGP supremo Deepak Dhavalikar.
