GU suspends online classes till June 7

PANJIM: The Goa University has further extended the period of suspension of all the online classes for programmes offered by it and its affiliated colleges till June 7and has declared it as vacation period. 

Earlier, the online classes were suspended from May 11 to 31. The decision been done after State government extended the State-wide curfew with present restrictions till June 7.

“The University has decided to further suspend the conduct of online classes for programmes offered on the University Campus and at its affiliated colleges till May 31,” the University circular issued on Friday stated. The period will be considered as vacation for the staff and students, who are eligible for vacation. 

“Non-vacation staff shall continue to work from home as per the directives of their respective Directorates/Institutions,” the University mentioned.

Earlier, the University had informed colleges that offline examination will not be conducted before June 16 while online examinations were postponed till June 8.
