Selective NOCs spark outrage from school association in Goa

The Goa School Management’s Association has strongly criticised what it terms the discriminatory approach of the Directorate of Education (DoE) in sanctioning permanent posts for teachers and non-teaching staff across high schools and higher secondary schools in the State.

In a press statement, Action Committee Convenor Prashant Naik said that the Directorate must adopt an impartial approach while processing NOCs for appointments.”How can the Directorate of Education grant NOCs to a selected few schools while denying others who also fulfil the required criteria?” Naik questioned.

He warned that the Association would approach the High Court if the issue is not resolved by September 5, Teachers’ Day.
