Dhond, who is hardly noticed occupying the dais in public functions, sat prominently along with Canacona MLA and Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar and other office bearers of Canacona BJP block in Canacona Municipal hall, Chaudi.
Addressing more than 500 Canacona constituency BJP functionaries, Dhond spelt out strategy to be adopted in registering maximum number of voters as BJP primary members in the ongoing party’s membership drive. Dhond advised door-to-door visits besides online campaign.
Tawadkar, speaking at the function credited party workers for the success of the BJP in the State and Central elections. “Same enthusiasm should continue and register maximum of our well-wishers as party members and inform them of the benefits,” Tawadkar said.
Canacona Block President Mahesh Naik, Secretary Vishal Dessai, Mahila President Neha Desai, besides State executive members Sarvanand Bhagat, Umesh Naik and Arun Bhat were also present.
