Power Minister Milind Naik inaugurated the camp in the presence of former Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) chairperson Sumita Usgaokar, Councillor Sanjay Satardekar, BJP workers and doctors of Matoshree Sevadam Health Trust Mumbai.
Speaking to Herald, Naik said the camp, which was inaugurated on Saturday, will conclude on December 2, and is expected to help the residents of Baina and Sada who cannot afford to go to a normal clinic.
“Eye-check up and doctor services at the camp are free. However, they will have to pay for their spectacles except those who cannot afford.” he said.
