PANJIM: Panjim Footballers scored an injury time goal to hold Goan Warriors to a 1-1 draw in the Goa Football Association U20 Taca Goa Division One league match played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Tuesday.
After playing a barren 80 minutes with both teams struggling to find the break through, Goan Warriors managed to take the lead in the 82nd minute through Videsh Sawant.
Just when it looked like Goan Warriors would walk away with three points, Panjim Footballers were got a chance to level terms when they were awarded a penalty kick.
Pratik Dhargalkar stepped up and coolly converted the spot kick to restore parity.
In another match played at Ella ground, Sporting Clube de Goa got the better of Dempo Sports Club 2-0.
Both the goals were scored in the second session through Delton Colaco and Aman Govekar.
