PANJIM: Sudesh Kochrekar Headmaster from Keerti Vidyalay Siolim was unanimously elected as the chairman of the Organising Committee for the three years during the annual meeting of Bardez Taluka Headmasters and Physical Education teachers held at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa, on Tuesday.
APEO Shobha Tupsundar welcome the gathering and congratulated all the Head of the institution and P.E teachers for their excellent co-operation to her office in organising tournaments for the year 2016-17.
The organising and protest committee’s were also formed under the guidance of APEO Shobha.
The meeting was held to finalise the sports calendar for the year 2017-18 and was was attended by the Assistant Director (coaching) Vrunda Vernekar, Asst. Physical Education Officer (Bardez) Shobha Tupsundar , Taluka Sports organiser (Bardez) Anant Sawal, Chairman of Organising committee Bhavneet D’Souza and 58 Physical Education teachers.
St Britto High School Mapusa topped the charts of top performers of the year 2016-17 at Bardez Taluka level. Followed by Chubby Cheeks HS, Porvorim, LD Samant HS, Porvorim, G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa, St Theresa HS Candolim, Saraswat Vidyalay, Mapusa, St Anthony HS, Guirim, Janata HS, Mapusa, Shree Shantadurga HS, Pirna and Sacred Heart HS, Parra.
