Samiti assures all help to MMC councillors

Margao Lok Samiti has said it will continue to strive in the field of civic issues affecting the city and will try to positively take up issues and find solutions with the cooperation and support of the City Fathers in a true people friendly manner.
Congratulating all the Councilors who have been elected to the Margao Municipal Council during the recently held Civic polls, Lok Samiti Convenor Dr Gopal P Vaidya, Joint Convenors Dr Lanfred Da Costa and Vishnudas Vernekar said the organization trust that all the Councilors will rise above all the political prejudices and perform in the true spirit of democracy for the welfare of the respective wards in particular and Margao city in general.
“We wish to assure all its cooperation to the city Fathers in their endeavour for the betterment of the city””, the leaders said and exhorted upon the Councilors to provide a stable council for the term.
“The problems faced by Margao are known to all. It is also known that overcoming the Civic problems is an arduous task, however, not an impossible one. A scientifically designed road map towards the sustainable development is the need of the hour. MIS offers its support and assistance in devising this road map which can be successfully adhered to only by the peoples participation in the true spirit of democracy”, they added.
