MARGAO: Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat has thanked the Revenue Minister Jennifer Monserrate for considering his representation for withdrawal of five orders/circulars/instructions which were causing hardships to the widows.
The widows in Goa were facing hardships and difficulties while executing any agreements/deeds/ mutations/power of attorneys etc pertaining to their property matters etc, as they were required to remain physically present before the concerned authorities.
“I had received various requests from all across the State to give relaxation to the said rule. I am thankful to Revenue Minister Jennifer Monserrate for considering my representation made before her and issuing the order of withdrawal of earlier five orders/circulars/instructions which will give great relief to the widows,” said Kamat.
