PANJIM: The Fast Track Court in Panjim will hear three applications filed by Tarun Tejpal and another by Crime Branch sleuths for carrying out supplementary investigation, on March 21.
Tejpal’s bail application filed before the High Court of Bombay at Goa will be argued on Friday.
On Thursday, FTC Additional Sessions Judge Vijaya Pol adjourned the matter, to give time to the defense to file a reply to prosecution’s application.
The CB has requested the court for further investigation as it is still awaiting response from its crucial witness — Hollywood actor Robert De Niro, and results of forensic tests from Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Hyderabad.
Tejpal, who is charge-sheeted for rape, sexual harassment and outraging modesty, was produced in the court a little after the hearing.
It is learnt that Tejpal was suffering from mild fever and twisted his ankle while playing volleyball in the Sada sub-jail earlier this week.
