Guest alleges sexual harassment at Benaulim resort

Vasco Police have booked Shubham Sahu, a resident of Kolkata, on charges of allegedly molesting a female colleague at a Benaulim resort in South Goa. The incident is said to have taken place between July 19 and 20, 2025, while the accused was on vacation in the state.

According to the complaint, Sahu allegedly touched the victim inappropriately during their stay at the beachside resort. Acting on her statement, police registered a case and have begun investigating the matter. Officials said further legal action will follow if the allegations are confirmed.
