Two Held for Assaulting Minor After School Brawl

Calangute Police have registered a case after a Candolim woman lodged a complaint alleging that her minor son was assaulted at home by two men and his classmate. The incident reportedly occurred on September 9 when the 17-year-old was targeted in connection with a previous altercation at school.

According to the complaint, the boy was at his residence when a man from Dona Paula, another from Taleigao, and the minor classmate barged in and attacked him. The three allegedly slapped, kicked, abused, and threatened the teenager while accusing him of having a fight with the classmate in school earlier. Police said the assault took place inside the complainant’s home, leaving the victim shaken.

Investigators revealed that the two adult accused accompanied the boy’s classmate to confront the teenager following the school dispute. In the course of the argument, they allegedly resorted to physical violence and verbal abuse. The complainant further claimed that her son was threatened with dire consequences if such incidents continued in school.
