Porvorim Police have arrested one person after recovering suspected ganja during a drug raid conducted on Monday. According to Porvorim Police Inspector Rahul Parab, an FIR has been registered under Section 20(b)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act, 1985. The accused, a resident of Haliwada, Britona, Bardez, was taken into custody following the operation. Police said further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the contraband and whether others are involved. More details are awaited as the probe progresses.
