Pramod Sawant has challenged critics to visit newly completed projects under the Smart Cities Mission and assess the work on the ground rather than relying on political statements. Speaking at the inauguration of multiple infrastructure initiatives, the Chief Minister said development efforts undertaken by the Government of Goa will continue regardless of criticism. He emphasised that several long-pending urban improvement works have now been completed and are benefiting residents. Sawant stated that those who earlier questioned the projects should now see the results firsthand and acknowledge the improvements brought through coordinated planning, investment, and timely execution of smart city initiatives.
