Goa Maritime Conclave 2026 to Be Held at Naval War College Verem on February 21

The Goa Maritime Conclave 2026 will be held on February 21 at the Naval War College, Verem, bringing together representatives from 14 Indian Ocean countries to deliberate on key issues related to maritime security and regional cooperation.

Announcing the event, A D Nair, Rear Admiral, said the conclave reflects India’s firm belief that maritime security is a collective responsibility and can only be effectively addressed through cooperation and collaboration among like-minded nations.

He stated that the conclave will provide a vital platform for participating countries to exchange views, share best practices and strengthen partnerships in addressing common maritime challenges such as piracy, illegal trafficking, disaster response, and emerging security threats.

The annual conclave has emerged as an important forum for fostering trust, enhancing interoperability and promoting stability across the Indian Ocean Region, reinforcing India’s role as a key stakeholder in regional maritime security.
