Krishna Salkar, MLA of Vasco da Gama, on Saturday launched the works for the rehabilitation and upsizing of an old sewer line at Driver Hill using the pipe bursting method, along with the provision of house sewer connections in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Salkar said the project aims to improve the sewerage infrastructure in Driver Hill and enhance sanitation facilities for residents.
He also informed that work on the proposed Vasco Sports Complex, which he described as a dream project for the constituency, is expected to commence soon.
Commenting on the recent civic election outcome in Panaji, Salkar said the results reflect the extensive development work carried out by the Bharatiya Janata Party government across Goa.
