A 22-year-old man died after a coconut tree he had climbed bent and got uprooted, leading to a fatal fall in Consua on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Nawin Soreng, a resident of Benaulim and a native of Jharkhand.

According to reports, Soreng had climbed the coconut tree to pluck coconuts when it suddenly bent and got uprooted. He fell from a height and sustained serious injuries in the incident.
He was rushed to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
