During the meeting, the delegation submitted a memorandum highlighting serious concerns over two individuals — Pravin Lone and Devanand Lone — who are accused of obtaining jobs in the Fisheries Department by allegedly submitting forged educational certificates.

The Fisheries Minister assured the delegation that appropriate action would be initiated within eight days after examining the matter.

The issue has raised questions over verification processes in government recruitment, with the Congress urging swift accountability and strict enforcement of rules.
