Devendra Fadnavis expressed strong confidence that Goa will achieve the status of a ‘Viksit’ or fully developed state by 2037, a full decade ahead of the national target. Speaking at a public event, he said that enhanced budgetary allocations and consistent support from the Centre would significantly accelerate Goa’s development. Fadnavis highlighted improvements in infrastructure, tourism, connectivity, and investment as key drivers of future growth. He also predicted a major victory for the BJP-MGP alliance in the 2027 state elections, claiming the coalition is on track to secure a two-thirds majority. According to him, growing public trust and ongoing welfare initiatives will play a decisive role in shaping the upcoming electoral landscape in Goa.
