IMD Issues Nowcast Warning for North Goa; Thunder Showers, Lightning and Gusty Winds Likely in Four Talukas

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Goa, has issued a nowcast weather warning for parts of North Goa, forecasting thunder showers accompanied by lightning, gusty winds and light to moderate rainfall over the next three hours.

According to the IMD, isolated areas in Tiswadi, Pernem, Bicholim and Bardez talukas are likely to experience adverse weather conditions, including thunderstorms and strong winds.

Residents in the affected areas have been advised to exercise caution, especially while travelling or engaging in outdoor activities. The weather department has also urged people to take necessary precautions against lightning strikes and sudden gusts of wind.
