An Indian-origin entrepreneur based in Canada has touched hearts online after sharing an emotional video of himself breaking down during a flight as he reflected on how far he had come in life.
Ash Lamba posted the video on Instagram, revealing that he had intended to record a light-hearted clip while seated on the flight. However, as soon as he switched on the camera, he unexpectedly became emotional.

Lamba later realised that the moment was triggered by memories of his childhood dreams.
Recalling his younger days, he said airports always fascinated him, particularly the business-class cabin. Whenever he travelled, he would intentionally walk past the section on the way to the washroom just to catch a glimpse of the luxurious seats.
He also remembered admiring classmates who lived wealthier lifestyles, speaking about holidays abroad, luxury cars, expensive gadgets and premium brands. While describing his childhood as happy, Lamba said those experiences inspired him to dream bigger.
He credited his parents for giving him a wonderful upbringing and working tirelessly to provide for the family. Yet, he always felt a desire to explore the world, gain more freedom and build a life beyond what he had imagined possible.
Looking back today, Lamba said he now finds himself sitting in the very business-class seat he once admired from behind a curtain. He has travelled to destinations he only heard about as a child, owns the car he once dreamed of and lives in a home his younger self would have considered impossible.
He said the emotional moment wasn’t about the flight itself but about remembering the little boy who quietly promised himself that one day he would achieve those dreams.
Concluding his message, Lamba said his dreams may have evolved over the years, but his determination and hunger to keep growing remain unchanged.
