Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the police action against students participating in the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) ‘Chalo Sansad’ march in Delhi.
In a video message, Gandhi described Modi as “the most anti-youth Prime Minister in India’s history”, accusing the Centre of suppressing students demanding accountability over alleged examination irregularities, including the NEET-UG paper leak.

Gandhi alleged that despite repeated controversies over examination leaks, the government has continued to shield Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
“Prime Minister Modi is so anti-youth that he cannot even seek the resignation of a failed Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan,” Gandhi said.
The Congress MP claimed that 152 examination papers had been leaked across the country, affecting nearly 7.5 crore students. He alleged that those responsible remained free while students protesting peacefully were being detained and assaulted by police.
“Those responsible for paper leaks are free, while students raising genuine issues are dragged away and beaten,” Gandhi said, accusing the government of turning against the country’s youth instead of addressing their concerns.
His remarks came as clashes broke out between CJP protesters and Delhi Police during the ‘Chalo Sansad’ march after demonstrators attempted to move towards Parliament. Protesters alleged that police used force after they refused to disperse near Parliament Street.
Earlier in the day, a delegation from the CJP met Union Health Minister JP Nadda and submitted a memorandum demanding the release of activist Sonam Wangchuk, the removal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and compensation for families of NEET aspirants who allegedly died by suicide following the paper leak controversy.
