The body of a 25-year-old hotel employee from Manipur, who was swept away by strong waves off Anjuna Beach, was recovered a day after the incident.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Yapan Sharon, had arrived at the beach with three friends. Investigators said Sharon had reportedly fallen asleep on a rock before being swept away by rough sea conditions.
