ponda: An awareness programme on Coronavirus was conducted by the Ponda Sub District Hospital on Wednesday amongst the doctors, nurses and staff of the hospital. There were 70 participants who trained on how to detect and control the spread of the disease.
Resource person Dr Prashant Suryavanshi, Medical officer of Hospicio Hospital gave a lecture on how to safely use and remove the masks after administering treatment to the patients. He also explained about the checks conducted by the government at the airport and the steps taken to quarantine patients from Goa.
