The government claims it is essential to have Aadhaar giving absurd logics even in the Supreme Court. One such logic is fake financial claims are checked. Does the citizens privacy right prevails over government finances? It is the duty of the government to check financial irregularities and malpractices without endangering or crossing citizen’s privacy rights. It is being forced like on a gun point- finances/ cash is looted by bad elements of the society. Then naturally out of fear and government force one surrenders unwillingly of its fundamental rights of privacy rights.
The Government just does not trust its citizens; this kind of thinking is dangerous and detrimental to democracy. Once a citizen is a victim of Aadhaar misuse his life will be ruined. But the Government is forcing it on the illogical basis of security and on saving government finances.
Once MPs become victim of Aadhaar leakage then only they will realise its endangers to lives of people. It is much more harmful than Face Book accounts leakage /misused for election results — as consequences of its misuse of Aadhaar are more harmful in all respects. Face Book is not forced but Aadhaar is forced by the government. Now Congress is blamed tomorrow BJP may use it and no one would ever know as it has art of buying media and people and take advantage unnecessarily of security of nation etc. The lesser said about its manipulation is better. In fact, no political party(ies) or politicians at large are trust worthy they all have self-interest of power and position and are least bothered for the nation-people’s welfare.
Any link based on internet application is never safe as once any data/ information in put on use on internet can never be cent percent safe all security measures are of no use. All such data used on net is open for public and never remains private. This is basic principle of net use.
The Supreme Court must strike down Aadhaar in toto.
