MARGAO: Reacting to the recent claims of Shiv Sena about the Goa political scenario, Goa BJP President Vinay Tendulkar stated that BJP’s numbers in Goa will increase from 27 to 30 and that there are two more MLAs who are willing to join the party.
He also asked politicians who want to pull down the BJP-led State government to keep dreaming and added that the BJP-led State government will be in place in 2022 too.
Tendulkar added that Shiv Sena in Maharashtra has forged an illicit alliance and now (Shiv Sena leader) Sanjay Raut is bragging about politics in Goa. “He should recollect what he spoke about Congress the last time,” Vinay quipped.
“The Goan politicians and those leaders together have got some dreams of creating strong opposition in Goa. Shiv Sena is welcome in Goa but remember your candidates haven’t been able to save their deposits in all the places you contested from in Goa” said Vinay.
Tendulkar emphasised that BJP has a stable government in Goa.
“I want to tell Sanjay Raut to stop bragging and complete all the assurances made to Maharashtra the farmers and people in his State,” said Vinay while adding that BJP will have a govt in 2022.
He also indirectly hit out at Goa Forward Party.
“The politician who has been going around talking about Goen Goemkar and Goemkarponn should explain to people what is his Goemkponn all about now,” he added.
