It is a blot on the CM to make such a heinous and blatant statement after promising zero corruption in governance to the electorate who had empowered him on reposing full trust and faith in him. This statement not only indicts the town planners but also the CM who appears to be an abettor for tolerating corruption during his tenure.
If he has any concern for Goa he should sack the corrupt planners and prove that he is a principled man. Hope CM will stand by his word and stem the rot which has crept in the system even at the cost of creating and impasse. There is no dearth of planners. Public will salute him for his revolutionary move.
Let not the public chant the old refrain during his rule “All politician are corrupt, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely ” because he is a capable leader who can take tough stands and lead Goa to great heights.
