Women’s Dialogue focuses on special status for Goa

MARGAO: AAP hosted a Women’s Dialogue in Margao titled as ‘Women as leaders for change’. The discussion at the Women Dialogue saw several important non-women specific issues being raised by the women at the meet.

Answering the question of a woman on whether Goa would get special status if AAP comes to power in Goa, the Delhi CM said, “Special status must be given to Goa and I bet that with BJP government both at the Centre and State they can do it in 24 hours.”
Criticising the promises of special status made by various leaders, Kejriwal said, “The prime minister may have promised and Parrikar also may have promised, but they did not do it, because their conscience wasn’t clear (when the made the promised of special status.”
Looking at the response of women, Kejriwal said, “I have been to several States and did women dialogue. But by far, this is the most rich women dialogue I have attended. I am highly convinced that the women of Goa can lead the State.”
Kejriwal has also called these elections as unique that will change the future of Goa.
He has appealed to the women to lead the revolution.
Earlier, AAP had conducted a door-to-door campaign and discussed the problems of women. And on Sunday nearly 800 women gathered for the dialogue.
