PANJIM: CII-IGBC Goa Chapter conducted a 2-day Green Building Training Programme for senior engineers, architects and other government officials of the Government of Goa including the PWD. The programme was inaugurated by Ramkrishna Dhavalikar, Minister for PWD.
Mr Dhavlikar stated that Swatch Bharat is a laudable effort by the PM, and stated that Green Building is the need of the hour. It refers to healthier spaces and will contribute towards Swatch Bharat. Water being a scarce resource, it should not be wasted but should be used judicially. His objective is to give 24×7 water supply to Goa through the JICA project.
